Let them Eat Garbage!
This is realy a tru story.this cow comes regularly in the front of the temple near my house daily without fail ,at late evening time when every one has left ,,,why ? :to have her food from leftover eatables from this garbage drum ,
the MILK of cow is in demand.
Despite their sacred status, cows don't seem very appreciated in India. Visitors are often surprised to see them walking neglected around city streets, living on garbage from the gutters. But the cow is honored at least once a year, on Gopastami.
When faith transform into beliefs there the paradox of religion starts! Having affectionate approach towards other living being is a natural phenomenon. We HUMAN have lost our sanctity & sanity. The painting is perplexing but is real truth.
If anyone really cared about the cows they wouldn't be eating like this ..
One of the most spiritual Country like India and the way they worship the Cows like they Deities, it's hard to watch what happened to these peoples in the 21st Century maybe time changed their beliefs about how to take care of these animals and not to let them running wild on the City's streets. I'll guess the beliefs is change if they don't serve the purpose to serve them and make money for them. I' guess it's collective responsibility not to let those Animals to exes to garbage on the street but in the same time so many people going through the same experience we loose focus what is right anymore””
where cows are considered holy animals and are worshiped by Hindus. I was fascinated by how integrated they were in daily life, lining the crowded streets, eating garbage off the ground, or getting in the way of rickshaws or cars on busy roads.”’ an observation by a foreigner :
Abstract: Cows are still considered holy to the people of the Hindu faith across the Indian subcontinent.
HAPPY CO-EXISTENCE……
the painting is also a comment on the religious hypocrisy of the cult of the holy cow.
